Nutrition values are estimates computed from USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy) using the database method; cooking losses of vitamins and minerals are not modeled, and EU energy may be slightly overestimated for fermented/acidic foods or products with polyols (the database does not separate organic acids and polyols). You are responsible for the accuracy and regulatory compliance of your final label. This tool does not provide legal, regulatory or medical advice.
How it works
Search 7,793 foods from the USDA database and enter amounts in grams, ounces, cups or sticks.
Tell us how many servings your recipe makes (and the cooked weight, if it differs). We do the math and the legal rounding.
Export your FDA or EU/UK label as PNG, SVG or PDF at print quality — plus an ingredient statement sorted by weight.

Frequently asked questions
How are the nutrition values calculated?
You add your recipe’s ingredients and quantities; we calculate per-serving and per-100g nutrition from the USDA FoodData Central database (SR Legacy), using the “database method” recognized in FDA guidance as an acceptable way to determine label values. Rounding follows the FDA 2020 rules (21 CFR 101.9) for the US label and Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 for the EU/UK declaration.
Is this accepted instead of a lab analysis?
Often, yes. FDA rules don’t require lab testing — label values may be determined by calculation from ingredient data, and the FDA doesn’t pre-approve labels either way. Lab analysis (typically $500–1,000 per product) is common for nutrient content claims or highly processed products where calculation is unreliable. In the EU, calculation from known ingredient values is likewise a permitted basis for the declaration (Art. 31(4)). You remain responsible for your label’s accuracy — when in doubt, check with your local authority. This tool is an estimation aid, not legal advice.
What does the free version include?
Everything — unlimited recipes, both US and EU formats, and downloads. Free exports carry a PREVIEW watermark. One $29 payment removes the watermark forever, on unlimited labels.
Why is it $29 once when competitors charge $29 per label?
Because the nutrition engine runs entirely in your browser — only license activation touches a server — so there’s next to nothing for us to run. No infrastructure bill, no subscription. You pay once, you keep it.
Does it cover the EU/UK “back of pack” format?
Yes. The EU/UK tab produces the nutrition declaration per 100 g (energy in kJ and kcal computed with the official Annex XIV conversion factors, salt from sodium × 2.5), with an optional per-serving column — the mandatory format for most prepacked foods in Ireland, the UK and across the EU. Small producers selling directly and locally may be exempt — check with your authority (e.g. the FSAI in Ireland).
Where does my recipe data go?
Nowhere. Recipes are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded. We couldn’t read your recipes if we wanted to.
