The service

MakeFoodLabel generates estimated nutrition labels from ingredient data in the USDA FoodData Central database (public domain), applying FDA 2020 (21 CFR 101.9) and EU Regulation 1169/2011 formatting and rounding rules. Calculations run in your browser.

License

The one-time purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to produce watermark-free labels for products you or your business sell. One license per business. Labels you export are yours — use them commercially without attribution.

No professional advice — important

Nutrition values are estimates produced by the database method. They do not replace laboratory analysis where that is required, and nothing here is legal, regulatory or medical advice. You are solely responsible for verifying that your final label complies with the regulations that apply to your product and market (e.g. FDA, FSAI, EU member state authorities), including allergen declarations.

Refunds

EU/UK consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Regardless of where you are: if the tool doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you — no questions asked. Refunds are processed by Gumroad, our merchant of record.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
